Tired of paying $16.00-$36.00 a pound for fragrance oil and "hoping" it is
on point?
Have access to top quality fragrance oils for approximately *$10 a
pound.
The
Fragrance Co-Op Number one, all scents will be 30 day 100%
satisfaction guaranteed so you need not worry about "if" you got
lucky with a fragrance. Number two, shipping will be a two
day business turn around, and have a dedicated staff.
Number three, cost of the fragrance oils to Co-Op members will be
no more than 30% higher than the actual wholesale price charged by the
manufacturer-to cover cost of space and staff support. So, if the
manufacturer charges $8 a pound of full strength, you will be charged
$2.40 extra on top of the $8. Number four, the minimum
order for Co-Op member purchases will be ten pounds, or $100 (whichever
is greater) and that can comprise a pound each of any fragrances.
The Fragrance Co-Op will carry a full line of fragrances. Staff will
visit the manufacturer facilities in person to seek extra deals and
options for
members. All fragrances will be suitable for bath and body as well
as candle use. The Co-Op will work with its members, verbally
consult and support the member's individual goals. The Co-Op will carry
unique fragrances a member may need, beyond the standard line. Number
five, The Fragrance Co-Op dues will be $295 the first year and $100
each year thereafter. Membership dues are non-refundable due
to propriety, and/or intangible valuable information they learn as
members. The Co-Op
does not mind if you are joining with a friend or other liaison to
buy--as long as product is going to one address. Number
Six, The Fragrance Co-Op will have its own web site, newsletters for
Members only. Co-Op members will receive proprietary information
such as how to blend fragrances, making some 200 scents from 30 basic
ones, so they can save even more money.
*Once 100 founding members have joined at the rate
of $295.00 the fee for members joining after that will be $495 a year.
We
estimate that will be before October 1st, 2007.

History on Buying Bulk Fragrances
After
seven years we found the absolute best manufacturer of fragrance oils.
We have known about them for a year, but it costs $15,000 to get in with
them. Cost was not an issue as much as certified space to carry
their minimums of 50 gallons of each scent. That requires a lot of
space. We found a company in Mississippi willing to supply the proper
space as well as service Mabel needs and other fragrance Co-Op
participants. If you are a serious fragrance oil buyer this is
the only way to go!
The
main issue with fragrance oils has always been finding a company where
every fragrance is on point, not just a few. And higher
price never means higher quality. There are only 4 true
manufacturers in the states, but multitudes claiming to be such.
The truth? Most true fragrance oils are about $8 a pound wholesale
and are so strong, they need to be diluted to be "pleasantly" recognized
by the nose. Most "brokers" which is 95% of the market--cut
these in 1/2 with DPG, which is pretty standard. Some, sell them
as is, do not cut--and call them "double or triple" scented--but charge
a whopping price for not cutting.
So, if they cut, their cost is more around $4 a pound and if they do not
cut--they still get a great profit. From that point, they are all
selling pretty much the same products for anywhere from $12 a pound to
$32 a pound. Same stuff, different marketing approaches.
Those charging high end dollar are typically the "double or triple
strength" crowd.
*$10 a pound can vary based on actual wholesale cost and does not count
shipping fees.
