Why I love Michael
Moore
I
like anyone who is a free thinker and I really adore anyone despised
by Pfizer, Merck and Monsanto. Passionate but peaceful about whatever they are
doing. A person not so afraid to take risks who then can
never say they have "lived." As the old saying goes, "if at
first you do not succeed-destroy all evidence that you tried."
Michael Moore sure does not have to live vicariously through others.
And unlike many, Michael Moore sure can say he has lived. I love
that four eyed jelly belly. Michael Moore is a stand up guy
whether he is right or wrong. The problem with our society is
few stand up or ask questions until they saw a cliff-and that was only
to run backwards.
I have not seen his new
film yet "Capitalism: A Love Story" but I already love the
trailers and I will go next weekend to see it. My personal
favorite Moore antic is his putting crime scene tape around the SEC
building. Michael Moore's book, "Dude Where is My Country?"
is also a good read.

could find. :)
What about
2012? by Deborah
Dolen
I am so glad you asked.
One night I was so very bored [and I mean face to the keyboard kind of
bored] I began to worry about the world ending in 2012. I literally
had nothing else to do. Snopes could not really say it was not
true and this began to agonize me and make me wonder...Could it be
true? The world is going to end? The upside is Discover
card and Capital One (they have your wallet BTW) can't call.
After
reading all night here is my summary re 2012: The Mayans never wrote any
calendar for us, and they would never even like us enough to do that
anyway. The Mayans were far more interested in things like
eating and survival. The Mayan calendar was all about them. It was always about
"them." Plus any civilization that practiced human sacrifice
is not a bunch of advanced geniuses anyway and need I point out they died. In fact
the Mayans died WAAAY before the end of their own calendar. On a
similar note-Nostradamus actually was not right about a lot of things
and according to him we were toast in 1999 (after he conveniently is
not around.) Plus he could have heard this lore from the Mayans
before his time and been tainted by it. The best answer is this one "But
of that day and that hour knoweth
no man."
So ignore fear mongers who claim to
know anything. We have our plate full with things we can do
something about.
Master Tonic: A Natural Antibiotic
[Our most downloaded article ever and a reprint from
2003]
It is just that
time of year that the changes in our weather tend to start the cold of
flu season. Beyond "Garlic Soup for the Soul" in my Kitchen
Art's book as well as free on the "Get Well Soon" Postcard (click here
for that) there has been made known a master tonic that is supposed to
be so strong, not only will viruses want to leave, so will those who
smell your breath! Use at your own risk! The famous
tonic is made up of the following:
-
Raw Unfiltered
Unbleached Non-distilled Apple Cider Vinegar
-
1 part fresh chopped
garlic cloves
-
1 part fresh chopped
White Onion (or hottest onions)
-
1 part fresh grated
Ginger Root
-
1 part fresh grated
Horseradish Root
-
1 part fresh chopped
Cayenne Peppers
To Make:
Fill a glass jar 3/4 of the way
full w/equal parts by volume (i.e. a cupful each) of the above
fresh chopped and grated herbs. Then fill jar to the top with
RAW, Unfiltered, unbleached, non-distilled apple cider
vinegar. Close and shake vigorously and then top off the
vinegar if necessary.
Shake at least once a day for
two weeks, then filter the mixture through a clean piece of
cotton (old T-shirt, etc.), bottle and label. Make sure that
when you make this tonic that you shake it every time you walk
by it, a minimum of once per day. Remember that all the herbs
and vegetables should be fresh (and organically grown if
possible) and use dried herbs only in an emergency.
This tonic is extremely
powerful because all the ingredients are fresh. It's power
should not be underestimated. This formula is a modern day
plague tonic and when added to an incurable routine it can
cure the most chronic conditions and stubborn diseases. It
stimulates maximum blood circulation, while putting the best
detoxifying herbs into the blood. This formula is not just for
the sniffles, it has helped to turn around the deadliest
infections like some of the new mutated killer viruses that
defy conventional antibiotics.
The dosage is 1/2 to 1 ounce,
two or more times daily (1-2 Tbs.). Gargle and swallow. (DON'T
DILUTE with WATER.)
For ORDINARY infections, 1
dropper full taken 5-6 times a day will deal with most
conditions. It can be used during pregnancies, is safe for
children (use smaller doses and as a food is completely
non-toxic. Make up plenty as it does NOT need refrigeration and
LASTS INDEFINITELY WITHOUT ANY SPECIAL STORAGE CONDITIONS.
Ingredient properties:
-Garlic cloves (anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral,
anti-parasitical)
-White Onion, or hottest onions available (similar properties
to garlic)
-Ginger Root (increases circulation to the extremities)
-Horseradish Root (increases blood flow to the head)
-Cayenne Peppers, or the hottest peppers available, i.e.
habanero, African Bird, -or Scotch Bonnets, etc. (a great blood
stimulant).
Pro-biotic: antiviral,
anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-parasitical.
(Comes from The University of Natural Healing: Dr. Richard
Schultzs' adaptation of Dr. Christopher's' original
anti-plague tonic). Submitted by: Debbieway2busy@aol.com.

The Miracle of
Black Cumin Oil
[Another re-print and popular download]
Black cumin oil, also known as black caraway or black seed oil is not
black. But it is highly regarded by many as a
panacea and may
therefore not be taken seriously by some, but for those inclined to
dismiss folklore, it should be noted that these humble seeds have been
found superior to almost every other natural remedy when used for
autoimmune disorders, conditions in which patients suffer greatly because
their own systems attack their bodies. Black cumin, especially when
combined with garlic, is regarded as a harmonizer of the imbalance which
allows immune cells to destroy healthy cells. The technical language to
describe this property is "immunomodulatory action." The difference
between black cumin and interferon is that there are no known side effects
with black cumin when administered in normal dosages. The saying goes that
the beauty of black cumin is their capacity to restore harmony.
The most dramatic results are achieved with asthma and allergies. These
respond relatively quickly unless there is infection, in which case, the
infection needs to be eliminated before the symptoms of immune weakness
subside. Continued use for six months or longer tends to give outstanding
results. For extreme fatigue, consider mixing some crushed seeds with some
royal jelly.
In the 13th century, the Arabic physician Ibn Kaym claimed black caraway
could be used for over 50 ailments such as Bronchial Asthma, Bronchitis
and other diseases of the respiratory tract. Also inflammation reduction,
Arthritis relief, correction of digestive disorders, constipation relief,
fighting parasitic infestations, detoxification and strengthening of the
liver, increased energy and general good health are among the many
benefits from using black caraway.
At the 71st annual meeting of the federation of American societies for
experimental biology, a report was issued supporting some of the medicinal
claims of Black Caraway. Some medicinal response may be attributed to the
increase of immune enhancing T cells. This may support the black caraway’s
role in balancing and strengthening the immune system.
We love to use it in our facial cleansing milks. Click here to buy

Oleic Acid (23.7%), Linoleic Acid [Omega-6] (57.9%), Linolenic Acid

components Protein, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Pyridoxine, Niacin, Folacin,
Calcium, Iron, Copper, Zinc, Phosphorus.
Editor's note:
I find the vitamin B family, superficially Pyridoxine significant
because it dos stop itching. This is also known as Vitamin B-1.
When combined with menthol I find it wonderful for various skin
conditions. I add this at 5-10% to liquid soap, body
crèmes, ointments and lotions to name a few.
